✨ Member Spotlight: Northside Community Housing Celebrates First JVL Generational Homes

Northside Community Housing, Inc. celebrated the ribbon cutting for the initial six Generational St. Ferdinand homes in the JVL neighborhood! With all 6 units already sold and a waitlist in place, the massive demand highlights the critical need for quality, affordable housing in St. Louis. The new properties are part of a broader, multi-phase revitalization aimed at breathing new life into the historic neighborhoods of North City.

The Generational project is the first wave of many intended to create sustainable, long-term housing options to uplift generations of residents in the JVL (Jeff-Vander-Lou) area. Mixed-Income Communities: Similar projects in the neighboring Greater Ville and Ville areas feature newly constructed and fully renovated mixed-income apartments, townhomes, and single-family builds.

This project would not have been completed without the dedication of neighborhood residents and partners, including but not limited to Rise, Sterling Bank, JVL Neighborhood Association, Hill Construction, the City of St. Louis - Community Development Administration and many others.
