Funding: During this grant cycle, open May 10 - September 24, 2021, the National Park Service will be awarding between $300,000 and $5 million to state and local governments. State agencies must be the lead applicant for this grant opportunity, but they may apply for funds on behalf of a local government.

 This grant program provides funding to renovate existing parks or create new outdoor recreation space in underserved communities funded through the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF)
