Incarnate Word Foundation: The Annunciation Grant Cycle
Formerly named the “General Grant Cycle,” our annual Annunciation Grants have been renamed in honor of the feast day of our sponsoring congregation, the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. The Annunciation celebrates God’s incarnation in the world through Jesus.
The Incarnate Word Foundation is committed to catalyzing collaboration and building relationships by supporting organizations that serve the most vulnerable in our community.
We prioritize partnerships with organizations that align with our values, demonstrate significant community engagement, and approach their work with innovative and strategic thinking.
2026 Timeline
April 23
Grant orientation webinar via Zoom. Grant Cycle opens with the Letter of Intent (LOI).
May 29
The Letter of Intent (LOI) is DUE by 5:00 p.m. Central.
Technical assistance cannot be provided after 3:00 p.m Central on May 27.
August 5
Notification of LOI acceptance or declination. Full grant application opens. Site visits begin.
September 2
Full grant application DUE by 5:00 p.m.
Week of October 19
Notification of application declination or acceptance and funding award (generally $3,000 – $10,000).
December 2026
Reception breakfast at Forest Park Golf Course.
2027
Spend grant funding.
January/February 2028
Attend 1 focus group session at the Incarnate Word Foundation office.
