Every spring, Rebuilding Together St. Louis participates in National Rebuilding Day, during which hundreds of volunteers head out to up to 50 homes throughout the St. Louis Metro Area to make needed repairs for residents in the communities we serve.
This spring’s Rebuilding Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2022. If you’re interested in volunteering, please contact Jessie Klostermann at jessie@rebuildingtogether-stl.org.
CBN members DeSales Community Development, Dutchtown South Community Corporation, Employment Connection, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, Park Central Development, and Rebuilding Together St. Louis have been awarded $370,000 in funds from the City of St. Louis’ Affordable Housing Trust Fund to support housing and social services projects. The Affordable Housing Commission awarded roughly $5.3 million for FY 2022.
Rebuilding Together St. Louis helps a resident of the Baden neighborhood repair her home of thirty years. Giving the homeowner a sense of pride and gratitude.
Volunteer electricians from across St. Louis joined together to make vital electrical repairs on 16 homes. Electrical hazard work, combined with projects to be completed by volunteer teams from Rebuilding Together St. Louis, is helping low-income homeowners stay safe in their homes.

Exciting news about home repair in the City of St. Louis! The Community Innovation & Action Center at UMSL received a grant from the RRF Foundation for Aging to conduct a study of the home repair needs of older adults in the city of St. Louis. Congrats to the grant partners: Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, St. Louis Association of Community Organizations (SLACO), Rebuilding Together St. Louis, the St. Louis Vacancy Collaborative, Mission: St. Louis, St. Louis Senior Fund, & the St. Louis Community Development Administration.

Rebuilding Together St. Louis recently hosted their 2020 Fall Rebuilding Day, which drew over 200 volunteers to 18 homes over 2 days to help improve home safety, comfort, & accessibility for senior adults who otherwise couldn’t have afforded repairs.
