Volunteers are welcome to support the event starting at 2:30 p.m. for set-up; the TAB will also accept donations of Halloween candy.

All Aboard the Holiday Express (Thursday, December 18 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.)

Clinton-Peabody Tenant Advisory Board, St. Louis Housing Authority and Preservation of Affordable Housing are preparing to host the annual holiday event, bigger and better than ever. This year, we will be expanding this year’s event to include King Louie III and LaSalle Park families in addition to Clinton-Peabody families, reaching up to 450 children, which is over 3 times the number of children we’ve engaged at previous holiday events. The event will include a gift giveaway for children, a holiday gift raffle for adults, food, music, fun holiday activities, and photos with Santa. Attached is a flyer with additional event details.

We are requesting donations for the event; given the number of children we will be including in this year’s event, our fundraising goal is $10,000. You can donate toys and other holiday gifts for youth; you can also provide a monetary donation and we can purchase gifts on your behalf. Monetary donations can be sent to Preservation of Affordable Housing, Inc. We will provide a donation letter upon request for tax purposes.

Please let us know if you would like to participate no later than Friday, December 5; please include Arielle James (CC’d above: ajames@poah.org) in your response. And please feel free to share with others who may be interested in contributing!
