Several CBN members are partnering on a new 40-home development on Evans Avenue in North St. Louis, representing a $17 million investment in affordable housing and the largest investment in affordable housing in the neighborhood in more than 40 years. The project brings together Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis, Midwest BankCentre, St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC), Enterprise Bank & Trust, St. Louis Community Foundation, U.S. Bancorp Impact Finance and Smith NMTC Associates, LLC to create homeownership opportunities for working families.

The development is focused on creating homeownership opportunities for working families through a collaborative investment from multiple community partners. Habitat for Humanity St. Louis hosted a Framing 40 Futures Community/Press Event on Tuesday, August 18, at 10 a.m. at 4200 Evans Avenue to share more about its plans for the neighborhood. Community members were invited to learn more about the development and the vision for creating new pathways to affordable homeownership.
