Human Trafficking especially child sex trafficking has become a vital topic of discussion among scholars, advocates, and public outcry recently. Yet, these conversations and movements-like so many other social justice issues- have ignored the connection between race and other root factors that push people of color into human trafficking including America’s commercial sex trade.

In partnership with the University of Missouri in St. Louis (UMSL) Criminal Justice Department, Gateway Human Trafficking is pleased to announce that Dr. Rostami’s Race, Crime, and Justice Course live guest speaker sessions are now open to the public.

These sessions are offered online via Zoom. During these weekly live sessions, we will discuss various issues concerning Race, Crime, and Justice in our communities that makes people of color more vulnerable to crimes and obstacles they are experiencing to get justice.
