Giving Tuesday 2025

#Giving Tuesday 2025

December 2nd, 2025

#GivingTuesday has become a powerful moment in the year-end season of generosity for communities across the globe. What began in 2012, when the 92nd Street YMCA in New York and the United Nations Foundation set aside one day to celebrate giving, has grown into an international movement that raised more than $3 billion in the U.S. alone last year.

Here in St. Louis, CBN is proud to join this global day of generosity. Across our region, our nonprofits are working harder than ever to meet rising needs in disaster recovery, education, food access, healthcare, housing stability, and community well-being.

#GivingTuesday 2025, happening on December 2, is an opportunity for all of us to uplift that work and invest in a stronger, more equitable St. Louis.

How You Can Support St. Louis Nonprofits on #GivingTuesday

Whether you have time, resources, skills, or simply a commitment to spreading kindness, every act of generosity makes a difference. Here are some meaningful ways to participate (adapted from GivingTuesday.org):

  • Give time by volunteering with a local nonprofit.

  • Give voice by advocating for causes that strengthen St. Louis neighborhoods.

  • Give dollars by donating to a nonprofit in honor of #GivingTuesday.

  • Give goods by organizing a donation drive for essential items.

  • Give kindness through small acts that brighten someone’s day.

  • Give talent by lending your expertise—marketing, HR, design, technology—to a community organization.

  • Share why you give by posting on social media and encouraging others to join in.

There are countless ways to inspire generosity across our region. #GivingTuesday is your day to uplift the organizations and neighbors who help St. Louis thrive. Please consider donating directly to Community Builders Network or one of our hard-working, reliable Member Organizations.
