Community Builders Network of Metro St. Louis

Welcome

The Community Builders Network of Metro St. Louis (CBN) is a professional association of nonprofit community building organizations whose goal is to build vibrant neighborhoods where people want - and can afford - to live, creating a stronger and more competitive regional economy. CBN works towards this goal by increasing the capacity of organizations and developing a more supportive community development system. While just beginning, the Network is focused on:
  • increasing individual organization capacity;
  • engaging the community development support system including government, foundations, banks and corporations;
  • providing the sector a collective voice in public dialogue;
  • raising the profile of community development in the St. Louis Region.

The region's community building organizations are intent on working with residents to improve their neighborhoods. Collectively, the work of making stronger neighborhoods makes for a stronger region. Please stay tuned as information about our region's community building organizations, best practices in community development, and news concerning the sector is posted!
