This week, we’re sharing a map that was created by Team TIF using data from a report on Economic Development Incentives in the City of St. Louis, published by the St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC). This map breaks down the aggregate use of incentives in each St. Louis City neighborhood from 2000 through 2014. The legend on the left indicates the percentage of total incentives that were used in that neighborhood during the time period tracked. Red areas are parks.

The map also contains Census and American Community Survey data on population change by neighborhood between 2000 and 2014. You can review this data alongside incentive figures by clicking on a specific neighborhood to generate a pop-up box.
