The City of St. Louis’ Community Development Administration office (CDA) is holding a public hearing/public comment period on the Substantial Amendment, Citizen Participation Plan and 2016 CDBG/HOME Funding Priorities on Thursday June 18, 2015. This hearing will take place at 5:30 pm at 1520 Market Street in Suite 2000.

According to the CDA,

“The Substantial  Amendment proposes the reprogramming of  Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding allocated and unspent in previous funding year. The Citizen Participation Plan describes the proposed steps that the City will take to encourage input in HUD-funded programs.”

In addition, the CDA has four documents currently available for review:

  1. The Substantial Amendment to the 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan and the 2015 Annual Action Plan. This document is available online, at St. Louis Public Library’s Central Branch, and at the CDA office at 1520 Market Street. Comments will be accepted until 5:oo pm on July 6.
  2. The Citizen Participation Plan. This document is available online, at St. Louis Public Library’s Central Branch, and at the CDA office at 1520 Market Street. Comments will be accepted until 5:oo pm on July 6.
  3. The 2016 CDBG/HOME Funding Priorities. This document is available online, at St. Louis Public Library’s Central Branch, and at the CDA office at 1520 Market Street. Comments will be accepted until 5:oo pm on June 18.
  4. The 2016 CDBG/HOME Funding timeline. This document is currently available online.
